Senior Commercial Estimator
My Roofing Crew is seeking candidates for a Senior Estimator position in Springfield, TN.
My Roofing Crew is a young and progressive roofing company based out of Springfield, TN, just north of Nashville. Founded by two individuals with a combined thirty years’ experience in general contracting, roofing and emergency services with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are currently licensed in eleven states across the Southeast primarily focused on commercial and residential roofing. We have experienced such growth over the last four years that we are seeking the right individual to lead our estimating department; using our cutting-edge productivity tools, outsourcing of some duties to increase capacity and to develop a world-class estimating operation that can produce estimates in industry-leading accuracy and speed. Responsibilities:
· Project costs (materials, labor, equipment, taxes, permits, safety equipment, etc.) and produce estimates using Edge software for new construction and roof replacements.
· Procure competitive quotes from specific vendors on material, equipment, subcontractors, etc.
· Research and record permit costs and calculations for all estimates.
· Communicate with My Roofing Crew’s production team to gauge accurate costs for production and to ensure projects are prepared in accordance with the scope of work proposed and agreed upon.
· Based on experience, quotes, roofing expertise and previous collected data, make necessary adjustments to estimate to conform to the specific project or customers conditions.
· Enter detailed notes into both Edge and My Roofing Crew’s Job Management system to inform whomever may need to know what has been included in the estimate.
· Be thorough, always review and comprehend all construction documents such as contracts, plans and specs for projects you are estimating.
· Maintain a repair and estimate bid log and always update with information on all projects.
· Work closely with My Roofing Crew’s sales team to develop and submit proper bid documents to ensure compliance with each and every proposal.

Job Requirements:
· 3-5 years experience in commercial & residential estimating is Required
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
· Strong and comprehensive knowledge base of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines, cost control system, data analysis and strategic planning.
· Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills.
· Edge Software experience desired, others will be considered.
· Must be proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Office and advanced in Excel.
