As a Roofer – Helper you will provide assistance to roofers during the application, removal/repair of residential and/or commercial roofs. Cleaning roof deck to prepare for roofing. Unloads materials, distributes materials on roof, delivers materials to roofer during job. General material application knowledge necessary. Cleaning of jobsite after work is complete. Other duties as assigned. In slow times, will be able to learn the trade of roofing from experienced craftspeople in the field. Opportunity for advancement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full knowledge and compliance of all job safety procedures.
- Unload materials from truck and prepare roof for roofer.
- Scrape or pull off old roofing material.
- General application knowledge of felt, edges, starter and shingles.
- Unwrap and delivery materials to ensure the roofer has enough materials to work.
- Cleaning of gutters, drains and ground post application.
