Job Summary:

We are looking for a Product Sales & Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving the sales of CCM products into the residential sales channels in North America. This role will work from our Divisional HQ in Carlisle, PA.

In this new endeavor with CCM the successful employee will be responsible for the development, implementation and administration of new marketing programs, sales tools, initiatives, incentives, and new product developments to significantly increase CCM’s product sales into both new and existing residential markets. You will be responsible for the support of residential product lines and growth of sales by providing sales and technical support for Carlisle Residential Products (CRP) to customers, distributors, and sales representatives.

Travel Requirement will be up to 50%

Job Responsibilities:
• In conjunction with Marketing Communications, assist in developing or updating marketing / advertising material and literature related to the CRP product offerings.
• Work with internal design team to monitor and update technical documentation (i.e. Specifications, Installation Guide, Maintenance Requirements, etc.).
• Present information to inside and outside groups regarding the product lines, promotional programs, product offerings and project status in a professional manner both verbally and in writing.
• Develop and execute annual Marketing Development Plan.
• Manage sales incentive programs to ensure sales objectives are achieved.
• Development of marketing announcements and supporting sales tools for new products.
• Conduct sales trend analysis and participate in quarterly management reviews.
• Conduct customer VOCs and sales calls to ascertain market needs.
• Development, evaluation, testing, reporting and implementing new CRP product offerings.
• Manage the new product development process in conjunction with R & D and Manufacturing
• Confirm market price constraints for the product, draft cost analysis, develop time studies and assemble information on competitive products.
• Coordinate efforts with other inside departments to facilitate sales and produce proper documentation (i.e. Purchasing Specifications, Product Data Sheets, Installation Instruction Sheets), order inventory, educate Ultimate RB personnel about the product and introduce to the market.
• Coordinate with Marketing Communications to successfully execute annual Marketing Plan to include the development of websites, literature, advertising, sales presentations, and training programs.
• Customer service interaction including communications facilitation between customers, CRP Sales and Marketing personnel, R&D personnel, Production, Shipping, Scheduling/Inventory Control, internal customer service and Advertising.
• Travel to and from manufacturing plants, customer locations, jobsites, testing laboratories, vendors’ facilities and other locations as assigned.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
• Sales or marketing experience within residential construction and/or building materials
• Understanding and experience with new product development processes
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong relationship building skills
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to present to all levels within an organization
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment working with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% overnight

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work Environment: 50% Office – 50% Travel
• Field – Most all fieldwork will involve travel by air or automobile and will be subject to rooftop weather conditions.
• Office – Environment is fast paced and team oriented.
• Training – Training presentations are conducted in office settings and hotel meeting rooms.
• Pace – The pace of work is fast, challenging and rewarding.

Time Worked:
• Hours Worked – Typically 40+ hours a week
• Days of Week Worked – Monday through Friday
• Shifts Worked – Typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Travel Frequency – Average up to 3 days per week
• Comments – Occasional evenings, Saturday or Sunday work required for events

Physical Requirements:
• Using safety equipment where required
• Lifting and carrying up to and including 25 pounds
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to travel by air and vehicle for up to 8 hours at a time
• Sitting for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
• Standing for extended periods (up to 4 hours)
• Walking
• Vision, Hearing, and Speech enough to perform work on computer, communicate with others and remain safe in work areas
• Manual dexterity enough for typing, operation and handling of office materials and equipment as well as operation/handling of tools/equipment/ materials used in roofing
