Marketing Specialist

The SOPREMA Marketing Specialist collaborates with the Marketing team and Product Managers on development of strategic components including website design and development, social media management, collateral production, and email marketing – you will be the person helping ensure projects are completed accurately and on-time.

A highly analytical thinker with a customer-centric mindset is ideal for the role.  He/she will be able to understand project goals and ensure they are maintained while making decisions during the entire production process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·         Managing projects in our project management system based on action items from calls and projects / ideas from internal customers.

·         Monitoring task progress to meet deadlines and provide status updates.

·         Providing information and collateral as needed to complete projects.

·         Updating marketing collateral using appropriate Adobe Creative software ensuring brand guidelines are maintained.

·         Leveraging each social media’s platform’s uniqueness to maximize impact.

·         Driving social media traffic and engagement that translates into sales and master brand awareness.

·         Gaining industry knowledge and product understanding to help our clients in future situations.

·         Implementing creative marketing strategies to disseminate content.

·         Meeting or exceeding annual goals, as set by SOPREMA business initiatives.

·         Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by SOPREMA leadership.

·         Works diligently to maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet or exceed our standards.

·         Maintains a highly collaborative, positive, can-do attitude as part of SOPREMA’s U.S. marketing team.

·         Performs other related duties as assigned.

 Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.

·         Experience with online community building.

·         Proficiency with social media analytics.

·         Exceptional attention to detail.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication.

·         Experience using a project management tool.

·         A natural proactive, service-oriented and value-seeking nature; willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty, while approaching all situations with an empathetic and patient manner.

·         Highly data-driven, with a commitment to process.

·         Team player with the highest level of integrity.

·         Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment; willingness to be an active participant in a team environment and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

·         Occasional travel may be required.

·         English-speaking proficiency is required, bilingual skills a plus.

·         Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative applications. 

·         Working knowledge of marketing and analytics tools, CRM programs and content management systems.

·         Experience applying and designing social platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and SlideShare.

·         Experience within building supplies/materials industry is a plus.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Demands:

·         Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·         Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
