Commercial Roofing Estimator
Highland Roofing is committed to performing high quality commercial roof installations and repairs at a fair price to our customers. We're looking for someone who shares this philosophy to create estimates and proposal letters for commercial new construction, replacement roofing and coating/restoration projects.
Responsibilities:
* Create estimates and proposal letters for commercial new construction, replacement roofing and coating/restoration projects.
* Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures to determine the best way for installation of the roofing systems.
* Create and maintain accurate estimating templates using excel or estimating software.
* Ensure estimates are accurate and thorough.
* Thoroughly document all quoted and sold results on company software.
* Maintain an awareness of the department's productivity & profitability goals and work with dept. manager to meet and exceed those goals.
Requirements:
* 2+ years' experience in commercial estimating, preferred
* Knowledgeable of a variety of roofing systems
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and with minimal management
* Strong time management and organization skills
* Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent presentation, communication, writing, and listening skills
