I am going to purchase a new brake but can't make up my mind on brand. I have a Tapco 10'6" now not super happy with it. Is it worth the extra $ for a 12' model? Any suggestions will be helpful!!>>>

I have the Van Mark Mark IV, (10') the heavy duty one with extra cams, I am very happy with it. I have used it to bend lots of 20 oz. copper, .032 Aluminum, and 26 ga. steel. Only drawback is it's HEAVY (almost 200 lbs.) Also got a slitter that goes with it, rides on the top rail, what a great invention! If you are just bending coil stock, they make a lighter version that is much easier to move around. I like it much better than the Tapco brakes.

What will you be bending? Aluminum, Steel or Copper? What gage, thickness, weight? I've got two Tapco Max-I-Mum Commercial Benders (Max 20 Port-O-Bender)

It will bend 24 gage steel and came with a stand and cut off shear.
