Got a leak call and realized I install the arch roof in 1981, 37 years ago. Roof still in good shape, plumbing boot leaking

Lucky to get 25 years out of an arch roof here in Ontario Canada.... Ice does a number on granules..... I wonder if the drastic shift in temperatures from +40 celsius to -40 celsius from summer to winter has any effect on shingle life.

Architectural shingles came around in the 1970s

Wow! Sounds like they got their money out of that roof and then some. Do they know it was you that installed it, or are there new homeowners by now?
