Program up to 600 Panel Configurations on This Machine

New Tech Machinery Using UNIQ Automatic Control System
March 17, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.

By Evelyn Witterholt, RCS Reporter.

Using this portable rollforming machine is simple thanks to its automatic control system.

Most metal roofing contractors know how efficient it is to have a portable rollforming machine at their disposal. These machines make it easy to cut metal roofing panels in no time at all, thereby speeding up the process of roofing projects. One of the most well-known portable rollforming machines out there is the SSQ II™ MultiPro Roof Panel Machine from New Tech Machinery.

The shining feature of the machine is its UNIQ® Automatic Control System which allows contractors to program up to 600 panel configurations. It’s built with a touchscreen that has lockable metal covers, brightness adjusters, troubleshooting screens and more.

The process of programming panels is quite simple. You start on the home page of the control system touchscreen. From there you press the “run mode” button and hit “add new part.” Here, you can input the number of sections, how many panels you want and the desired measurements of the panels. Confirm the input by hitting ok and your configuration will be added to the list! You can even input mutiple runs before you start the machine.

To run the machine, you’ll select the panel you want from your list and hit run. The machine will run the panel through the machine and cut it according to the configurations. When the panel is fully out, you will remove it so the next panel can come through. You don’t have to worry about the panels getting backed up either. Inside the machine there is a proximity sensor that senses if a panel is still there before feeding another one out.

If you are a visual learner, here is a video demonstration of the process.
