National Women in Roofing Seeks Award Nominations for New WORLD Award

The award recognizes a Woman of Outstanding Roofing Leadership Distinction.

Do you know someone who leads by example, with passion, strength and integrity? A true champion for women in the roofing industry as well as her local community and family?

The National Women in Roofing Organization’s mission is to support and empower women in our industry through education, mentorship, networking and recruiting, and our growing membership is filled with outstanding women who fulfill our mission on a daily basis nationwide!  The organization focuses on connecting and empowering women so that their training and leadership skills can help drive the overall betterment and professionalism of the roofing industry. 

At National Women in Roofing Day 2020, we will celebrate our first ever Woman of Outstanding Roofing Leadership Distinction (W.O.R.L.D.) Award recipient! She will be:

• A roofing professional

• With 3 or more years working in the roofing industry

• Affiliated with a roofing association

• A proven success through her industry growth (through her professional history/resume)

• A shining example of our 4 Pillars: Education, Mentoring, Recruitment, Networking as well as

• Community Service on a local, regional or national level within as well as outside of the roofing

Industry

• A woman who can balance work and family… a truly well-rounded individual

Our nomination process begins NOW! Nominate your candidate for the 2020 WORLD AWARD today!

All nominations must be placed on behalf of someone other than the nominee in order to be considered. Please include all career and personal awards, accomplishments and community service contributions. Any/all references, letters of recommendation, etc. are welcome and should be attached to the nomination. The judging process will be a “blind” process with nominees presented to the judging committee as anonymous entries.

Entry Deadline:

• September 30, 2019.
• Winner will be notified by the judging committee by mail.
• WORLD Award will be announced at the 2020 NWIR Day conference.
