The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas’ Boot Camp is a special three-class session designed to help you prepare for the required licensing exams for a Texas roofing license:

1. Business & Safety Exam
2. Residential Roofing Exam AND/OR
3. Commercial Roofing Exam

Your registration fee for the Boot Camp also includes a printed copy of the study materials which can be used during the exams. Included in these printed study materials are the MANAGING A ROOFING COMPANY IN TEXAS, an RCAT publication, as well as the "preparatory course presentations" for both the Residential and Commercial classes. You will also receive continuing education credits (CEUs) for attending the Boot Camp which are good towards your first year's license renewal!

The RCAT Licensed Roofing Contractor Residential & Commercial Exam questions are taken directly from the NRCA Roofing Manual - 2018 Box Set. One of the most widely recognized technical publications in the US Roofing Industry, this four-volume set gives you comprehensive information about roof system design, materials and installation. We highly recommend that every roofing contractor personally own a set of these manuals. These books are an optional purchase and not included in the standard RCAT Licensing Fees OR provided study materials. You will be given the option to purchase the books during registration. If you purchase the set they will be shipped directly to your address arriving in 2-3 business days from your order placement. You may also use them during the exams!
