They used to go by the name Emglo, then Dewalt bought Emglo, couldn't do the job correctly, then they were bought out by Jenny, who build everything here in Pa. Very top of the line and reasonable.
Jenny compressors with honda motor, made in Johnstown, Pa. Excellent
I see your point "Honest Roofer", but you will find soon (if not already) that every contractor grade compressor WILL be made out of country.
My question to you....Have you ever owned and operated a rollair? Well, keep the one you have, they are the better built compressor around......as I have had one for 7 years now and the first four years I used it every day and weekends as I was doing nothing but new constr. work...about 6,000 hrs of run time. good maintenance and care, and only broke down once as a diafram in the Pumper failed (120.00) repair bill. Everything still runs fine and every crew that I come across has one and they run 4-5 man shingling crews.
