Steep Slope Legal Seminar (8:00 - 9:00 AM CST):
As we navigate into 2021, contract language and negotiation will be key to a contractor’s success on steep slope roofing projects. During this important session, leading construction attorney Trent Cotney will discuss legal issues when working on steep slope roofing system installations including subcontract labor, safety and OSHA inspections as well as a discussion of some of the greatest defect-related issues faced.
Roofing Technical Update (9:30 - 10:30 AM CST):
Mark Graham, NRCA’s Vice President of Technical Services, will present important roofing technical issues including the new 2021 International Building and Energy Codes and will look at the Illinois and Chicago Codes
