One of my boys told me today that you ain't supposed to cut it lengthways, something about three different types of asphalt. Never heard that before..>>>

Oh, varol! I had no idea what what was. I do remember installing the Koppers KMM years ago. Matter of fact, there is one job I installed about 25 -30 years ago that is still holding up. It has to be one of the oldest surviving KMM roofs anywhere. It>>>

Yeah, I got that bit, I'm not talking about CUTTING it, but APPLYING it lengthways......as I said I was told it is not recommended. I would really like to know. Siplast is a closed shop down here.>>>

I seem to remember something like that, having to do with the need for different asphalt where it contact the foil. Veral is a funny animal, but I thought the cutting restriction had something to do with the selvage edge and limits on the allowable size>>>

Aluminum Varol. Yep. If you cut it lengthwise you risk damaging it. Nothing as ugly as fractured Varol.>>>
